"I have had the pleasure of learning about fitness from Lynnette for a couple years now. As a busy teacher, mom, and wife I started out with Lynnette’s summer bootcamp. I was instantly hooked by Lynnette’s personality and passion for life. I now attend her Saturday Adult Fit classes. My Saturday sessions are more than a great workout, it’s my “therapy.” Lynnette has this ability to know when you can do more, push yourself a little further, and reach goals that you thought were impossible. She believes in you even when you don’t believe in yourself. Working with Lynnette is more than having a trainer. It is having a friend and your biggest fan cheering for you and what your goals are. Thank you Lynnette for helping me to find the strength I have, not just physically but as a teacher, mom, and wife."

“To Lynnette you’re not just a client you are an extended part of her family. She truly cares about you and your health. Lynnette has been my trainer for 5 years now. I credit her for helping me achieve my goals. From running my first 5k race, to doing the warrior dash (which she did with me), to training for my first 100 mile bike ride with her husband Brandt. That is no easy task taking account all my “issues” like lower pack pain, wrists pain and an injured shoulder. Lynnette’s experience to customize each and every session to reach my goals makes me look forward to every session with her. Thanks Lynnette for making me a better person!” ~Derrick
"I’ve been training with Lynnette for almost 4 years and her style and personalization for her clients is amazing! I’ve seen awesome results in my body and fitness. With each session she does a check in and tailors the workout based on how your body is doing that day. That doesn’t mean it will be an easy workout, but modified. Her studio is located in a quiet residential area that backs up to a park and she takes full advantage of the outdoors. With monthly measurements to track progress, goals are set and she plans your workouts to meet those goals. Get sweaty with Netty and you’ll feel great too!" ~Michele
Training Focus: Post Pregnancy Fitness
"Growing up, I had always been active. I started playing softball when I was in kindergarten and continued all through high school. When it was off season for softball, I was either going to pitching lessons or playing volleyball. I loved being active and playing sports, I was naturally good at it.
Then life happened and when I was 24, I started my career and got married. After our first year and a half of marriage, we got pregnant! I was sick almost all day, every day for just about the entire pregnancy. Eating helped with my nausea though, so I ate. I gained 50-60 lbs. during my pregnancy and was miserable. But then at 38 weeks, our sweet baby boy joined us via C-section, weighing in at 10 lbs.!
After our son was born, I reached out to Lynnette about personal training. I was not about to join a class or a gym and knew I needed help. I wanted one on one training to really help me with my goals. I was desperate to lose the baby weight and the weight I gained prior to getting pregnant!
About 8 weeks post-partum, I met Lynnette for my first session. I was so nervous, I mean, after all, she was super fit and you couldn’t even tell she had given birth 6 months prior! But after chatting for several minutes, I began to feel more comfortable and was really excited to start training with her. We discussed goals, and what we needed to do in order for me to reach them. I was finally looking forward to the future and had hope!
I trained with Lynnette consistently for about a year and half, lost the baby weight, and was in the best shape ever! Not only did I experience the physical change, I also experienced emotional changes. I had finally found the confident girl I was in my early 20’s and it felt dang good!
It’s been 7 years now, and I still train with her on Saturday mornings in her Adult Fitness Class! Training with Lynnette is one of the best decisions I have made. Lynnette is an incredibly beautiful, positive, uplifting individual who wants you to succeed. She is extremely knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition and truly cares! Training with Lynnette is so much more than your typical trainer/client relationship, you really establish a friendship with her."
Training Focus: Weight Loss
"In January 2010, I decided once again to get serious about losing weight and set a goal to lose 55 pounds by October. Having been a former athlete who spent my high school and college years training, I felt I had the knowledge needed to successfully achieve my weight loss goal. After working out 4-5 times per week for the three months, I lost a mere 5 pounds. Clearly, I didn't have the knowledge I thought I had. One of the greatest challenges I initially faced was my travel schedule, which often times forced me to find exercises I could do in a hotel fitness center with limited equipment. And I never even considered modifying my diet, who cares what I eat as long as I am working out, right? I initially scheduled a training appointment with Lynnette to get assistance in creating functional workout routines I could use while traveling. After meeting with Lynnette, I quickly realized I would need more than just a list of additional exercises. Instead, I needed to change my entire approach to weight loss. Lynnette suggested many changes to my workout routine and diet. I gradually went from 20 minutes of riding the recumbent bike to 40-60 minutes on the elliptical. I began to log my meals which helped illustrate the important role my caloric intake would play in achieving my weight loss goal. Food logging not only reduced the number of calories I consumed, but also resulted in the consumption of a lower fat diet. Portion control became a part of my daily life. Once I purchased my BodyBugg, I was able to accurately track the calories burned in comparison to the calories consumed. Incorporating the changes in exercise and diet recommended by Lynnette resulted in a first month weight loss of 18.5 pounds, more than 3 times what I had lost in 3 months on my own! I achieved my original goal of losing 55 pounds in August 2010. I then set a new goal to lose a total of 100 pounds, which I achieved in December of that year. I am in my best shape ever and recently completed a 15k run. I have now lost 110 pounds and have maintained that loss for over a year. I continue to work with Lynnette to achieve my fitness goals. There have been a number of great things that have come about as a result of the weight loss; I am able to do things I have not been able to do in 20 years. I completed an 18 mile bike ride without much effort, and completed my first 15k event run with a pace of 12 minutes per mile in March 2011 (almost 1 year later from my weight loss goal start date exactly)! I am no longer tied to the clothing selection at the big and tall store, I can now buy clothes at any store I choose. Yet, the changes have not kept me from doing things I previously enjoyed, such as dining out with my lovely wife."

"I met Lynnette about three and a half years ago, when my best friend and I decided to sign up for a 4-week boot camp, and she just so happened to be the trainer assigned to our group. My friend and I were overweight and out of shape and had never done anything of the sort before. Boot camp was incredibly torturous. Lynnette pushed us to the extreme, literally to the point that we could not walk, sit, stand, even breathe without pain, yet we kept coming back for more, and I am convinced it was because of Lynnette, the person. She was incredibly supportive and encouraging, had a contagiously positive attitude, and always knew when to push and when to pull back. It was about a year after that boot camp that I decided to get a lot more serious about my health & well-being. I proceeded to lose some weight and was needing to get into better shape. I decided one day to look up Lynnette and see if she was still in the business. To my delight, I found that she was, and I started personal training sessions at her home studio. I've been working with Lynnette now for a little over two years. She has helped to guide me through the transition from weight loss to maintenance, and has encouraged me in one of my new hobbies (I still can't believe I'm saying this), running. She even accompanied me on my first 5K run last summer while she was pregnant! Talk about support. I am blessed to know Lynnette, both inside and outside of the gym. She is an incredible human being, and a trainer like none other (and that's a good thing.)"

Lynnette, We did this crazy obstacle course fitness thing today. 50 yards pushing a sled, 75 yards throwing a med ball, chase it down then throw it again. Snake our soccer stadium stairs. Run around the soccer field 3 times. Do 80 reps of ab work. Sprint 4 blocks down the road to the parking garage and run up 11 stories of stairs. AND I DESTROYED IT! I love being in great shape and thanks to you I killed almost everyone on the team! Just thought I would let you know… hope all is well!

Post Injury Rehabilition / Triathlon
"I met Lynnette my sophomore year of high school when she joined the Oregon City girls basketball coaching staff. I knew right from the very beginning that she was going to be a great addition to the team and could push us to where we needed to be for season. What I didn’t know was how much of an impact she was going to have on me personally.
My junior year came and I faced significant health issues that prevented me from being able to play. Lynnette was there by my side through all the struggle and tears as I sat on the sideline and watched my team play. She continued to stay positive and helped me through all the doctor’s appointments and ambulance rides. She was always there even when she didn’t need to be and I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart that there is no way I could have gotten through all of it without her.
As soon as the doctors cleared me to be active, Lynnette was just as eager as I was to get me back into the gym and start feeling like a regular teenager again. She worked out with me in her gym, at 24-hour fitness, and wherever our runs would take us. It might be hard to believe that I got through all the trials and tribulations, but I have no doubt in my mind that she is the reason I am where I am today. She helped me shape who I was physically and mentally. With Lynnette’s help and positive motivation I was able to complete a triathlon and half marathon! Out of all that I gained an unbelievable friend and someone I value very much in my life. Lynnette is able to push you to where you want to be, but what’s unique about her is that she cares about you and is a true friend throughout the entire process."
Training Focus: Weight Loss
"I started out skeptical. After all, I was a 254-pound woman. What could a tiny, little athletic uber-babe have to teach me about weight loss? I had a lot of reservations and did not believe that I could overcome my preconceived notion about thin people not having any empathy toward us chubby folk. Not only was I completely wrong about that, I was wrong about a lot of things surrounding my health, my fitness and my relationship with food. Lynnette came along at a time that was pivotal in my life. I have been heavy for most of my 34 years on this earth. I decided I needed to get healthy, whatever that meant, and sought the knowledge of a professional. Lynette's training is an integral part of my ongoing quest. She pushes me, motivates me and understands what I can achieve and what my physical limitations are. In our time together, I have lost more than 30 pounds and two dress sizes. I am getting married next year, and I know that with her guidance, I will be in the best physical shape of my adult life. And it will be an honor for my trainer and my friend to sit on the bride's side at the wedding."
Training Focus: General Fitness
"For most of my life I had been pretty healthy and energetic. Like many of us, a family came along and committments that over shadowed the ability to focus on exercise and nutrition. I recently turned 40 and wanted to give myself a birthday gift of health. Of course along with that comes all the insecurities and self doubt that revisiting sometimes has. But Lynnette made me feel so comfortable and confident in myself it truly motivated me to do my physical best! So not only have I regained strength and decreased my total body fat percentage, but improved my self image and confidence. Lynnette's energy is contagious, her knowledge is truly amazing, and she does it all with such professionalism, passion, and grace."
